Day 1: Visit Amarbayasgalant Monastery, Overnight stay in Erdenet
We will start our tour driving to Amarbayasgalant monastery which is to the north of Ulaanbaatar. This monastery was built by order of the Qing Dynasty Emperor for dedication to Mongolian first spiritual leader, Zanabazar. It has 300 years of history. During socialist regime, Russiand gave orders to destroy Buddhist monasteries, among Mongolian territory there were about 600 monasteries but almost 90% of them destroyed. Luckily Amarbayasgalant monastery was able to survive most of this destruction. Today there are 28 temples remaining. We will visit temples and surrounding Buddhist Monuments. Then drive to Erdenet city another 100 kms.
Day 2: Murun City
After breakfast we will drive to Murun city. Erdenet to Murun city is 450 kms. This is the center city of northernmost province Khuvsgul. From here we have to pick our border admission to travel around the country’s border areas where the Reindeer family live. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 3: Tsagaannuur village
After breakfast we will drive 300 km off-road to Tsagaan Nuur village . This is the closest village to the Taiga. We will drive through one of the wild mountain ranges, Horidol Saridag. In this area Darkhad and Tsaatan ethnic people live. We will have lunch with a nomad family on the way. Arrive in the evening in the village. Overnight stay with the horse herder’s family.
Day 4: Visit east Taiga & Meet Reindeer family
Mongolian Reindeer People or Tsaatan a diminishing nomadic tribe that live in the depths of the Taiga in northern Mongolia is one of the last groups of nomadic reindeer herders in the world. Taiga refers to a vast Siberian forest that spills over the Russian border into Mongolia. There are about 70-80 Tsaatan families in an entire Mongolian taiga.
After breakfast, we will drive 20 kms to East Taiga - Tsaatan people’s winter place. Reindeer people will welcome you with great hospitality. Overnight stay in a teepee.
Day 5: Stay with Tsaatan people,
We will spend the whole day with the reindeer family. They will be happy to share their lifestyle, introduce their customs and traditions. Mongolian Reindeer people's life is completely dependent on the Reindeers they herd. They often move their small encampment tepees 5-10 times a year around in search for suitable weather and moss for the reindeer.
Today you can help a family to build up a teepee and herd reindeer. Tsaatan people ride 5-10 km to herd their reindeer everyday and back in the evening. Overnight stay in a teepee.
Day 6: Visit Shaman
Drive to Renchinlkhum village to see the beautiful Jargalant river. Then drive to Ulaan Uul village.
Day 7: Khuvsgul lake
Drive to Khuvsgul lake.
Day 8: Drive to Uran Togoo extinct volcano
On the way back to Ulaanbaatar we will stay near the Uran Togoo extinct volcano. It is a nice place for hiking. Overnight in a nomadic family.
Day 9: Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. And drop you at the hotel. We hope you had a great time with ArtGer tour.

I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.
